Iceland is a beautiful place to try out rock climbing, put on your climbing shoes chalk up and try it out for yourself.

Perfect half day tour a way from the crowds.

This tour is a half day of rock climbing. We use 3 different places for this tour, two of them are about 40 minutes away from Reykjavík, and the other one is on the south coast.

So, it’s doesn’t matter on your location, we can find some place that suits you.

Starting 9:00 in the morning we drive to the climbing crag. All the climbing places have a short approach but good hiking boots are nice to have.

After a short hike to the base of the cliff your guide will go over how this works.  He goes over harnesses, rope systems, climbing equipment and climbing technique.

Then your guide will put up top rope system so you can enjoy your climbing with out a fall. We put the rope up on different locations so you can try different grades.

For this tour you don’t have to know much about climbing, we are going to show you how it works.

This is perfect for families and the younger generation.

If you are more experience climber you can check out our other tour multipitch climbing.

Weather in Iceland can change fast so if the weather is not good for this hike day we may have to cancel this trip or we can move the hike to the next day if that is better.
